A home inspection is an objective evaluation of the physical structure and systems of a home and also a functional check of all its major systems and appliances. Take a look at our Service page for a detailed standard home inspection list.
What is an Inspection?
Although home inspectors are now required to be licensed and regulated by the State of South Carolina, this does not guarantee experience and education as most were grandfathered in with little or no previous experience (only a 4 day training class is required!). Our qualifications are far advanced in comparison to our competition. I have 20 years experience as a state licensed Building Official and as a General Contractor. I have many additional licenses and extensive training and have performed thousands of inspections. It is to your advantage to hire an experienced professional to have peace of mind for one of your most important investments. Contact me to schedule your inspection now!
How we do it.
We perform professional, industry standard home inspections using only certified South Carolina licensed inspectors. You will receive an in depth comprehensive computer generated report within 24 hours including digital photos. We will send out copies via email to you or anyone else that is in need of the report.
A professional home inspection gives you an independent, unbiased view of any potential problems and their solutions, so that you will have all the facts you need to make a sound, informed decision.
We take our inspection reports seriously. Every inspection is a complete and thorough analysis of all the major systems and components in the home. The report includes a clear description of what we’ve found with any potential problem areas noted, so you can easily identify them.
Includes: insulation, ventilation, trusses, strapping, tie downs, wiring attachments, and other visible related items. All attempts are made to access all areas of the attic when possible.

Grading and Drainage

Good to Know!
We are not a remediation or treatment company. We have no vested interest in finding problems that would require expensive repair or treatment. We do not receive any commissions from contractors or remediation companies. We will however recommend repairs or remediation only when necessary.
